Dr. Alejandro Remigio Rodríguez, is a urologist with subspecialty in urology oncology, as well as, robotics and minimally invasive surgery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He holds the rank of Associate Professor and is the Program Director of the Urology Residency Program, as well as the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery for the Department of Urology in this institution. He is American Board of Urology Certified, and the present Secretary General of the Confederación Americana de Urología (CAU). He is the Editor of the AUA News in Spanish since 2019.

Eric S. Rovner, M.D. is a Professor in the Department of Urology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina, USA. He has a highly specialized clinical practice and research interest in the fields of voiding dysfunction, overactive bladder, lower urinary tract reconstruction, neurourology and urodynamics. Dr Helen L Bernie, DO, MPH is a board certified, world renowned urologist. She is an Assistant Professor of Urology, the Director of the Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine Program and the Andrology Fellowship Director at Indiana University. She completed her urology residency training at the University of Rochester and completed a 2-year fellowship in Male sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Werill Cornell Medical College in NYC. She serves on the Board of Directors and numerous committees for the SMSNA and is the scientific chair for this year’s SMSNA fall meeting. She is also on the ISSM young researchers committee and won the “Young Urologist of the Year” award from the American Urological Association this year.

LORI BIRDER
Lori Birder, PhD is a tenured Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Lori completed her PhD in neuropharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh followed by postdoctoral fellowships in Tokyo Japan and at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Her research has been durably funded by the NIH with currently three R01 grants studying bladder dysfunction with stress/pain and aging with a focus on drug development. Lori has published more than 250 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and reviews, a member of several editorial boards/scientific societies and serves as Founding Editor-in-Chief for the open access ICS journal ‘Continence’.

MIGUEL RAMOS
Miguel Silva Ramos, MD, PhD, FEBU, is Head of Transplant and Advanced kidney Surgery Unit in the Department of Urology at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto and Assistant Professor at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar. His clinical and laboratory research encompasses prostate and kidney cancer, kidney transplantation and lower urinary tract dysfunctions. Dr. Tanaka is a Professor and Chief of Pediatric Urology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her research interests include neuropathic and non-neuropathic bladder dysfunction. She is the scientific vice-chair for the CDC Spina Bifida Urologic Protocol and is on the board of the International Children’s Continence Society. She is the editor of the AUANews, the official news magazine of the American Urological Association.

Timothy Clinton, MD, MPH is an Associate Surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Surgical Oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Member of Faculty at Harvard Medical School. He received a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Dr. Clinton completed a residency in Urology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Following residency, he was a Urologic Oncology fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Clinton has a clinical and research interest in urothelial carcinoma and testicular cancer. He is an expert in robotic retroperitoneal lymph node dissection and the genomic determinants of urothelial carcinoma.

Dr. Sønksen is Professor of Urology at University of Copenhagen and Chair of Urological Research Centre, Herlev & Gentofte Hospital, Denmark.
Dr. Sønksen’s clinical research includes ejaculatory and erectile dysfunction, male infertility, lower urinary tract dysfunction as well as urological cancers.
He has published more than 175 peer reviewed scientific papers.
He has served as President of the Danish Association of Urology (2016-2019) and as Adjunct Secretary General of the European Association of Urology (EAU) since 2017.

Emmanuele A. Jannini, MD, a full professor of Endocrinology and Medical Sexology (University of Rome Tor Vergata), was a guest researcher and fellow at the Clinical Endocrinology Branch, NIH, summer lecturer at St Catherine’s College (Oxford) for the European Society of Sexual Medicine, and a visiting and honorary professor at several universities abroad. He is the president of the Italian Academy of Sexual Health. In more than 350 full papers, he studied human sexuality (premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and female sexual function and dysfunction), producing a Hirsch (H) index of 67 (Scopus).

J. QUENTIN CLEMENS
Dr. J. Quentin Clemens, MD is the Edward J. McGuire Professor of Urology and Associate Chair for Research at the University of Michigan. He is also the Program Director for the fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. His research focuses on benign urologic diseases such as urinary incontinence and interstitial cystitis. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters and has had continuous grant funding from the NIH since 2001.
JORGE GUTIERREZ
Jorge Gutierrez-Aceves, MD is the Center Director for Endourology and Stone Disease at the Cleveland Clinic Department of Urology. He is recognized as a world expert in endourology and treatment of kidney stones with over 30 years of active practice in endoscopic surgery and has performed more than 10,000 surgeries in the field. He has served in a variety of leadership roles in different international urological organizations, including Secretary General of the Confederacion Americana de Urologia (CAU), President of the Endourological Society and he currently serves as the American Urological Association Associate Secretary for the Americas, North, Central and South America. His main research interest is on minimally invasive endoscopic surgery for treatment of renal and urinary tract stones and on prevention of urinary tract infections related to kidney stones. Dr. Gutierrez-Aceves has participated extensively in several scientific educational activities and programs internationally with continuous teaching experiences as lecturer and surgeon.
