Miguel Silva Ramos, MD, PhD, FEBU, is Head of Transplant and Advanced kidney
Surgery Unit in the Department of Urology at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto
and Assistant Professor at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar. His clinical
and laboratory research encompasses prostate and kidney cancer, kidney transplantation
and lower urinary tract dysfunctions. He is currently the President of the Portuguese
Association of Urology
